Andrea’s work

Our volunteer Andrea Aliende Armendia from Building Bridges from Spain of our Erasmus+ European Voluntary Service project “Life Goes On” completed her 2-month long service in Sinop. Since she couldn’t work in the Association of Spastic Children due to COVID-19 preventions, she made products to be sold in favour of the stray animals. She sold the garage sale products in Letgo. Andrea, a biologist, made researches on Gerze’s Hacıkadı Chicken, which is faced with extinction. She made the chicken known by the academicians in Europe. Andrea completed her 2-month long service but she didn’t return her home. She decided to work for EPEKA and the Association of Protection and Sustenance of Stray Animals. Many thanks to Andrea for her outstanding work for Sinop.
