Furkan Hamamcı, who went to Tunisia for 2 months with our European Solidarity Program project “A Place I Know”, returned home. During his volunteering period, Furkan participated in environmental work and activities that will contribute to the development of disadvantaged children at our partner Association Solidarite Echange et Developpement – ASED in Sousse, Tunisia. He undertook tasks such as cleaning the beach, protecting endemic plants and playing fun games with preschool children. He took Arabic lessons. He gave Turkish lessons. He introduced our culture to the Tunisian public. With his activity, he became aware of many social problems and worked to find solutions individually and in the field of civil society. We would like to thank Furkan for his outstanding efforts in his activities.
