We visited Mr. Mayor Osman Belovacıklı of Gerze Municipality

We visited the Mayor of Gerze, Mr. Osman Belovacıklı, for the preliminary meeting of our European Solidarity Corps, Volunteering Teams in High Priority Areas project, “Sustainable Environment for the Aquatic Life – SEAL”, funded by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency. As part of our visit, we talked about the seabed cleaning that we will do with scuba diving in Gerze port, as part of the project that we will carry out between 1 July and 6 August 2024. Our mayor stated that he would give full support to our project. Mr. Belovacıklı also added that he will teach toy making to our volunteers in the hobby workshop where wooden toys are made.
