Following our beach clean-up activity, the second part of our YOURESET Local Action brought young people together at EPEKA Türkiye for a creative workshop combining environmental awareness, recycling/upcycling and media literacy.
Throughout the workshop, our participants transformed collected and reusable materials into new creations, worked on before & after visual stories, and designed awareness posters addressing environmental issues, misinformation and the importance of checking the facts behind the content we see online.
We also listened to the voices of our young participants through their testimonials, reflecting on what they learned, what surprised them and how small actions can contribute to a more sustainable future.
But today, we are sharing something just as important as the final results: the process.
These photos capture young people discussing, creating, questioning, collaborating and turning ideas into action. Because meaningful change is not only about what we produce — it is also about what we learn and experience together along the way.
