Photos from the “Wishing Star”

We would like to thank the public for the interest shown in our “Wishing Star” exhibition, which we held as part of our European Youth Together project “Through the Lens of the Other” (TLO), which consists of 13 partners applied by our Greek partner Inter Alia. We were also honored by the presence of Sinop Mayor, Mr. Barış Ayhan, to our exhibition. Through our exhibition, we showed the public the drama of refugee children who took refuge in our country at a young age. Our project, which lasted for 3 years, came to an end with the exhibition we held. In our project, we, together with the young people of EPEKA tried to present the difficulties experienced by the refugees who had to flee to our country. Many thanks to our project coordinator Oktay Kuru, our short film director and the youth leader Aziz Oğuzhan Sümer, the curator of our online exhibition and the coordinator of advocacy campaigns Rita Sousa, the curator of our “Wishing Star” exhibition Chada Elward Mazigh, young people who participated in the youth exchange in Malta in September 2019: Kübra Yılmaz, Burcu Şendil, Elvan Mutaf and Ceyhan Akdağ and the young people who participated in the online trainings: Massinissa Zeghouani, Sajal Ismail Malik, Usama Ali, Ayberk Mağden, Elif Kara and Fatima Benmessaoud.
