Oğuzhan Bolat, who went to Romania for 10 months with our Erasmus+ European Voluntary Service project “Make it happen”, has come home. Oguzhan worked with pupils in Ramnicu Valcea within the activities of our Romanian partner Asociatia Tinerilor Formatori pentru Promovarea Dezvoltarii Rurale with non-formal education methods. He introduced EVS to the pupils. He organized fun games for the children to strengthen their fine motor skills and cognitive development. He took tasks for all kinds of public events in Ramnicu Valcea. He participated in “Forum Theatre” with the young people. He took tasks on the activities of the hosting organisation for the inclusion of Roma people. He learned Roma dances and songs. He did gardening in the village museum. He took Romanian language courses. He introduced Turkish culture to the Romanians and the volunteers from different countries. He made a lot of friends. This activity had a great support for both Oguzhan’s personal, social and occupational development and the hosting organisation to make their activities and events happen.
Many thanks to Oguzhan for his all precious efforts in Romania.
