The European Youth Together project “Through the Lens of the Other”, applied by our Greek partner Inter Alia, has ended. In our project that lasted for 3 years, we became the advocate of discriminated and vulnerable groups and made society see them through their eyes. In this context, EPEKA youth carried out surveys, made films, organised exhibitions and advocacy activities about refugees living in Sinop. There was a kick-off meeting in Berlin on 18 – 19 January 2019, a training course in Romania on 16 – 25 April 2019 a youth exchange in Malta on 9 – 18 September 2019, a mid-term meeting and “Positively Different Short Film Festival” on 14 – 15 February 2020 (EPEKA participated in the festival with its short film “Purgatory”), online courses on advocacy on 14 June – 9 July 2021 and a final meeting with our other partners – PRISM: Italy, CCIF: Malta, Thessaloniki Pride: Greece, Institut fur Roma und Minderheiten home: Germany, EU Diaspora Council: Sweden, Az emberség erejével – CUM VIRTUTE HUMANITATIS Alapítvány: Hungary, FYC : Bulgaria, ART Fusion Association: Romania, EU15 Ltd: United Kingdom and Sirius Training CIC: United Kingdom – in Athens between 8 – 9 October 2021. We would like to thank our partner Inter Alia, our other partners in TLO and the EPEKA youth who worked in the project for their efforts.
