Our Italian volunteer, Desir\u00e8e Giglia of our Erasmus+ Volunteering project “Here I am” completed her service and left Sinop today. Desir\u00e8e helped the sensory and cognitive development of the disabled people in Sinop for two months. She organised activities to prolong their attention span. She gave dancing trainings with helping each other method. She played games to improve their fine motor skills in order to eat independently. She also did art work with them to talk about it such as Ataturk, science, art, etc. She participated in the events of the World Animals’ Day on 4th October. She also participated in the 29 October Republic Day events with the disabled children. With her warm and friendly personality, everybody loved her. She made a lot of friends in Sinop. Many thanks to Desir\u00e8e for leaving unique efforts to Sinop.<\/p>\n
