Today, Claudia Bernardi-Gra Roig from Spain, whose sending organisation and our partner Asociacion Building Bridges, started on an inspiring adventure to Zanzibar, Tanzania with EPEKA\u2019s ESC Humanitarian Aid Volunteering project \u201cSTARRY\u201d, funded by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). \"💫\"<\/span><\/div>\n
For the next 10 months, Claudia will dedicate her time and skills to the amazing work of Assalam Community Foundation (ACF):<\/div>\n
\"📚\"<\/span> At Assalam International School, she\u2019ll:<\/div>\n
\u2022 Support library, lab, and art\/science classes as a teacher, co-teacher, or facilitator.<\/div>\n
\u2022 Help children grow and care for their permaculture gardens \"🌱\"<\/span>.<\/div>\n
\u2022 Join them on excursions and prepare for showcase performances \u2013 even those held before the President of Tanzania! \"🎭\"<\/span><\/div>\n
\"👩\"<\/span>\"🍳\"<\/span> At the Vocational Training Center, Claudia will:<\/div>\n
\u2022 Assist in training programmes for women in tourism, culinary arts, pastry, early childhood education, sewing, and permaculture.<\/div>\n
\u2022 Provide entrepreneurship workshops and teach basic English.<\/div>\n
\u2022 Organise trips and creative workshops to inspire and empower.<\/div>\n
\"🌟\"<\/span> At the Youth Center (Africamp), she\u2019ll join various camps focused on art, leadership, storytelling, education, capacity building, and supporting orphans \u2013 all designed to unlock young people\u2019s potential.<\/div>\n
