Our Italian volunteer Filomena De Lucia, who went to Tanzania within the scope of our STARRY Humanitarian Aid project under the European Solidarity Corps, funded by the European Commission \u2013 EACEA, has completed her two-month volunteering activity.<\/p>\n

Filomena De Lucia completed a two-month Humanitarian Aid volunteering activity in Zanzibar within the ESC framework, hosted by Assalam Community Foundation. During her volunteering experience, Filomena contributed to a variety of community-based activities, supporting educational, environmental, and cultural initiatives within the host organization.<\/p>\n

She worked in an international and multicultural environment, collaborating with staff, volunteers, and local community members, and taking part in workshops, events, and daily activities.<\/p>\n

Through this experience, she strengthened her intercultural communication skills, adaptability, teamwork, and understanding of international cooperation and community-based work.<\/p>\n
