Within our European Solidarity Corps Humanitarian Aid Volunteering project “STARRY”, we sent our first team of volunteers to our partner in Zanzibar, Tanzania, Assalam Community Foundation with our Spanish partner, Building Bridges Association as the other sending organisation. During their 2-month long volunteering activity, Maria Paz, Laura Bertagnolli, Letizia De Palo, Muhammad Mubarok ve Awab Aldubai will organize educational activities and conduct workshops, games, and interactive learning sessions for children, teach permaculture to children, youth, and women, assist in growing Zanzibar’s main agricultural crops and natural cosmetics and help plant trees, clean beaches, and provide food aid with crops from ACF’s eco-village. We wish our volunteers success in their assignments.
