Aya Louali from Italy has successfully completed her volunteering experience in Sinop through the Italian Civilian Service programme. Throughout her 11-month journey, she made valuable contributions to both local community initiatives and animal welfare activities, leaving a positive impact on everyone she worked with.
During her volunteering experience, Aya actively supported EPEKA’s projects and activities. She contributed to the organization and implementation of public events such as exhibitions, movie screenings, workshops, and other community activities, helping participants engage more actively in the events. She also supported various online activities and assisted with project-related tasks, contributing to the successful implementation of EPEKA’s initiatives.
In addition, Aya took an active role in the activities of the Sahipsiz Hayvanları Koruma ve Yaşatma Derneği, supporting efforts aimed at improving the lives of stray animals. She participated in recycling activities that promoted environmental sustainability and helped create handmade products for fundraising sales benefiting stray animals.
A significant part of Aya’s volunteering experience was dedicated to animal care. She regularly supported activities at the village cat shelter, helping with cleaning and maintaining the animals’ living spaces, preparing food, and assisting with their daily care. She also took dogs for walks, contributing to their physical well-being and social interaction. Her compassion, dedication, and care greatly benefited the animals and the people working to protect them.
Through her commitment, hard work, and positive attitude, Aya made a meaningful contribution to our organization, the local community, and the animals she supported. Her willingness to help and her enthusiasm for volunteering have been an inspiration to those around her.
