We Successfully Completed the Erasmus+ Youth Participation Activity “Bridging Generations: Art, Culture, and the Heritage of Tomorrow”!
The Erasmus+ Youth Participation Activity “Bridging Generations: Art, Culture, and the Heritage of Tomorrow”, held from 20–28 June 2026 in the beautiful Lake Plastiras region of Greece, has successfully come to an end.
Funded by the Greek National Agency under the Erasmus+ Programme and coordinated and hosted by Villagers of Greece, this international activity brought together 30 participants from Greece, Italy, Spain, Poland, and Türkiye to explore the unifying power of art, culture, and active participation.

As EPEKA Türkiye, we were proud to take part in this inspiring project and represent our country while contributing to an enriching international learning experience.
Throughout the activity, participants had the opportunity to:
Explore community-based art initiatives and their impact on local development,
️ Discover local cultural heritage and exchange good practices for preserving and promoting cultural values,
Share experiences with young people and youth workers from different countries,
Reflect on the role of art in social inclusion, active citizenship, and community development,
Develop intercultural competences through dialogue, collaboration, and shared learning.

Through workshops, group discussions, cultural activities, and non-formal education methods, participants strengthened both their personal and professional competences while building meaningful friendships and valuable international partnerships for future cooperation.

The project demonstrated once again that art and culture are not only powerful ways of preserving the past but also essential tools for connecting generations, empowering communities, and shaping a shared European future.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Villagers of Greece, the Greek National Agency, and all project partners for making this inspiring learning experience possible.

Together, we will continue building bridges between cultures, empowering young people, and promoting active participation across Europe!
