Emma completed her volunteering service

For the past 11 months, Emma Forato from Italy has been volunteering in Sinop through the Italian Civilian Service programme, making a meaningful contribution to both local community initiatives and animal welfare activities.

During her volunteering experience, Emma actively supported the work of EPEKA by contributing to a wide range of projects and events. She played an important role in organizing and facilitating public activities such as exhibitions, movie screenings, workshops, and other community events, helping create engaging and inclusive spaces for participants. Emma also supported various online activities and assisted in the coordination of project-related tasks.

Beyond her work with EPEKA, Emma dedicated her time and energy to supporting the activities of the Sahipsiz Hayvanları Koruma ve Yaşatma Derneği, contributing to efforts aimed at improving the lives of stray animals in the region. She participated in recycling activities, promoting environmental awareness and sustainability, and used her creativity to produce handmade items for fundraising sales that helped support the care and protection of stray animals.

Through her commitment, enthusiasm, and willingness to help wherever needed, Emma has left a positive impact on our organization, our community, and the many animals she supported throughout her stay.

Thank you, Emma, for your dedication, kindness, and hard work. We wish you all the best in your future adventures and hope the memories and friendships made in Sinop will stay with you for many years to come. ❤️
