Empowering Youth Workers: From Project Design to Successful Implementation

We are excited to announce an upcoming Erasmus+ Training Course “Safe Space” that will take place at the beautiful Lake Plastiras, Greece, from 1–10 July 2026!

Hosted by Free Active Creative Team (FACT) and funded by the Finnish National Agency through the Erasmus+ Programme, this international training course will bring together 32 youth workers from Greece, Finland, Romania, Poland, Spain, Hungary, Serbia, and Türkiye, with four participants representing each country.

This training is designed to strengthen the competences of youth workers by providing practical knowledge, tools, and methodologies for planning, implementing, and evaluating high-quality youth projects.

What will participants learn?

How to prepare an effective and informative infopack
How to organize accommodation and respond to participants’ needs
Understanding the roles and responsibilities of participants
Creating meaningful team-building activities
Establishing project rules and creating a positive learning environment
Facilitating reflection sessions and collecting valuable feedback
Designing engaging and educational project activities
Planning and implementing outdoor learning experiences
Evaluating project outcomes and measuring impact
Creating and documenting a practical toolkit for future use

Throughout the training, participants will exchange experiences, share good practices, and explore innovative approaches to project management in youth work. By combining theory with hands-on activities, the course aims to equip youth workers with the skills needed to deliver impactful and well-structured Erasmus+ projects.

Set in the inspiring natural surroundings of Lake Plastiras, the training will also provide a unique opportunity for intercultural learning, networking, and building long-term partnerships across Europe.

Together, we will learn how to transform ideas into successful projects that create meaningful learning experiences and positive change for young people and local communities. ✨
