We Successfully Held Our Erasmus+ Adult Learning Mobility in Ayancık!

Between 2 – 8 May 2026, we were delighted to host 13 participants from Portugal in Ayancık for our 5-day Erasmus+ Adult Learning Mobility.

Organised in coordination with our Portuguese partner CASPAE and hosted by EPEKA, this training course offered participants a rich experience combining creativity, sustainability, and intercultural learning.

Throughout the programme, participants:
Strengthened their environmental awareness through upcycling practices,
Engaged in creative activities and visual storytelling workshops,
Improved their collaboration and teamwork skills,
Enhanced intercultural understanding through cultural exchange and local experiences,
Developed basic digital competences through photography and visual communication.

Participants also had the opportunity to explore local textile heritage in Linen House, enjoy nature-based activities in Tatlıca Waterfalls and meet with Ayancık Women-led Cooperative where they experienced traditional mantı making together.

Through this mobility, we shared meaningful experiences on sustainability, community empowerment, and lifelong learning while building strong connections between cultures.
