Heidi went to Morocco with our STARRY project

Heidi Letizia Friese from Germany has embarked on her 7-month volunteering experience in Morocco within our ESC Humanitarian Aid project “STARRY”, funded by the European Commission! ✨

Sent by Asociacion Building Bridges, coordinated by EPEKA, and hosted by Association Issaaf Jerada – Solidarite et Developpement, Heidi will join humanitarian support activities aimed at assisting children and communities affected by the earthquake in Morocco.

Throughout her volunteering mission, Heidi will collaborate with local organisations, schools, and community members in Jerada and the Al Haouz region. She will support the preparation and implementation of psychosocial activities, creative workshops, and solidarity initiatives designed to provide encouragement, emotional support, and positive experiences for children living in vulnerable conditions.

By taking part in this long-term volunteering journey, Heidi will contribute to strengthening community resilience, promoting intercultural understanding, and supporting humanitarian action on the ground.
