Mariana comes back home

Our Spanish volunteer Mariana Morillo, who went to India with our European Solidarity Corps Humanitarian Aid Volunteering project “HAND”, completed her volunteering activity. In the activity hosted by Orissa State Volunteers and Social Workers Association (OSVSWA), Mariana designed practical activities for tackling the problems in the Odisha region during her 5-month activity. She prepared an awareness-raising day about violence against women and applied practical interventions with teenagers related menstrual program in Ganjam. She prepared activities related with climate change and applied sessions for menstruation and health for young people in Konark. She attended the Durga Puja Event in Calcuta on behalf of her hosting organization. She participated in the Sun Festival in Bhubaneswar and the Dance Festival in Konark. She went to the Goa region and practiced yoga in Arambol. She carried out dance and yoga activities with women and young girls in the Odisha region. We would like to thank Mariana for all the efforts she has made in her activity.
