The 2nd volunteering team of STARRY in Peru

As part of our ESC Humanitarian Aid project “STARRY”, funded by the European Commission, our second volunteer team has arrived in Lima, Peru!

Our international team, consisting of Hana Sušánková and Frantisek Z. from the Czech Republic, Paulina Kaleta from Poland, Mohammadreza Bidgoli from the Netherlands, Paula Muñoz from Portugal, and Marion Paris from France, has been warmly welcomed by our hosting organization, Brigada de Voluntarios Bolivarianos del Peru (BVBP), and has already begun their inspiring humanitarian aid journey.

Over the next 59 days, the volunteers will work closely with local communities and contribute to activities focused on:

✨ Empowering women and strengthening leadership skills
✨ Developing practical and productive skills
✨ Promoting human rights and gender equality
✨ Encouraging intergenerational cooperation and solidarity

Bringing together young people from different countries around a shared purpose, this volunteering experience once again demonstrates the power of solidarity and international cooperation.

Although their activities in Lima have only just begun, the volunteers’ energy, motivation, and commitment to creating positive change are already making an impact. We look forward to sharing more stories, experiences, and achievements from their journey in the coming weeks.
