On October 30th, at our EPEKA office, we addressed environmental sustainability, conscious consumption, and environmental media literacy during the Youth Workers’ Event for our “YOURESET” project—an initiative supported under the Erasmus+ “Civil Society Cooperation in the field of Youth” framework!
♻️ Facilitated by Asst. Prof. Dr. Aysun Gargacı Kınay, the first session focused on household waste management, conscious shopping choices and sustainable consumption habits. Through an interactive true-or-false activity, we challenged common misconceptions and discovered some surprising facts!
In the second session, facilitated by Zubaidah Al-Rubaye, participants examined 20 Instagram posts about environmental issues, discussed whether the information was accurate, misleading or false, and practised identifying misinformation and disinformation.
