We are proud to introduce Filomena De Lucia, who has joined our Humanitarian Aid project STARRY, funded by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). Filomena will be based in Morocco with our hosting organization Association Issaaf Jerada – Solidarite et Developpement (AIJSD) and will stay until the end of 2026, contributing her expertise, dedication, and passion to support local communities in Jerada and Taroudant.
Filomena will coordinate and support STARRY volunteers during their missions, ensuring effective teamwork and smooth implementation of activities in Jerada and Taroudant. She will contribute to identifying local needs, logistical requirements, and implementation challenges, actively supporting the development of the volunteers’ work plan. Filomena will help share the impact of STARRY through social media, reports, and visual content—ensuring that the voices and achievements of volunteers and communities are visible and valued. Under the supervision of the project team and in line with safeguarding principles, she will contribute to the development of a psychological support guide for children in difficult situations. In coordination with local stakeholders and partners, Filomena will identify and propose new project ideas to support communities affected by the earthquake.
Through STARRY, we continue building solidarity, resilience, and hope across borders.
We wish Filomena a meaningful and impactful journey in Morocco!
